Grafton House is a beautiful, 1930's plantation house nestled within the bird and wildlife sanctuary of
the Grafton Estate.
This large house, with its idyllic hilltop location at Black Rock, Tobago, offers superb self-catering
accommodation for up to eight adult guests.
Situated within a large and lush tropical garden, Grafton House provides
magnificent panoramic views across the island and out to the Caribbean Sea. The house retains all of the original character
of its period construction and has been modernized by its owners to provide the convenience we expect today. The dark
wooden floors, high ceilings, and large verandas on all sides are complemented by a kitchen and three bathrooms, two of which
are ensuite.
The interior of the house is light and airy. Sea breezes cool the spacious living and dining rooms which
along with the double bedrooms are fitted with ceiling fans and newly installed air conditioning.
Accommodation for
sleeping is flexible. There is a master bedroom, two double bedrooms, a small twin bedroom and a cot (for the young visitor),
allowing up to eight adults and a child to stay at a time.
The extensive lawns surround the house; it's exotic landscaping
makes outside the perfect place to relax by the large private swimming pool (36'x16') or play a friendly game of croquet.
When
at the house you will meet our caretaker and gardener who has his own flat at the house, giving you the security of knowing
there is always someone there. We provide a housekeeping service (six days a week), supply and launder all bed linen, bath
and pool towels, and give you a welcome hamper to ease you through the start of your stay. The maid will cook or carry
out personal laundry for a small fee.
The facilities within the house include a local telephone, cable TV and air conditioned
bedrooms. We are happy to help arrange local car hire and can provide baby sitting services should you require them.
The
Villa is fifteen minutes from the airport and twenty minutes from the closest major port. It is two minutes from Grafton Beach
and is close to all major attractions. There are two 18-hole golf courses just a few minutes away. Tobago has Reef tours,
a plethora of scuba diving options, rainforest tours in the oldest rainforest reserve in the western hemisphere. Horseback
riding, windsurfing, kite surfing, kayaking, mountain biking, parasailing and fishing charters are all easy to arrange and
are close to the villas location.
The villa comes with full management services and can help you with any questions that
you may have. Come to Tobago and have a great relaxing vacation.
